Earthquake Felt Across Indiana, Meteor Streaks Across Sky in Maryland

Indiana Earthquake
Shortly before 8AM on Thursday morning an earthquake was felt across portions of Indiana. A preliminary report from the USGS pegged the Indiana quake as registering a 4.2 on the Richter scale.  The USGS centered the Indiana earthquake at 9 miles southeast of Greentown, Indiana.  The USGS later downgraded the strength of the earthquake at 3.8. There are a couple of faults that run through Indiana, but they usually do not produce much earthquake activity.  The closes fault to today's quake is the Sharpesville fault.

After checking around a couple of news websites from Indiana, along with the USGS website, I did not find any reports of anyone having felt the earthquake.

Fireball in Maryland
In Maryland, a fireball streaked across the sky near Frederick last Tuesday evening. A news report on WUSA 9 stated that a man saw the meteor move across the sky in the northern sky near 7PM. The object threw off sparks as it streaked across the sky.

Wow, the Indiana earthquake was rather shallow. Wish there was video or photography of the meteor in MD!

Playstation's willingness to let people play games for free has been a huge determinant
over the last year for me. Having said that this just isn't a predetermined amount and this specific number
is definitely rising day by day. If you want the
excitement of playing online against other players, than you will need to
invest in a home router that is either wired or wireless for the Playstation
3.
