Plenty of Odd UFO Reports

As a night sky watcher, I am always on the lookout for odd night sky events. But after spending endless nights and hours outside stargazing, I have never seen an actual UFO. I have seen a lot odd things, bright flashes, hovering lights, aurora, etc. But these have all been explainable.

I do keep tabs on UFO reports that filter in to the Internet. There a quite a few credible, and not so credible web sites out there that regularly reports sightings. Most UFO reports can be categorized as certain types. For example, there are metal objects, lights that look like flares, lighted orbs, you name it. Recently, I have noticed that there are an increasing amount of reports that center on one type of sighting: That is the lighted orb. In fact, there are some interesting videos that are popping up on YouTube showing some of these events. Here is one that was shot in Mexico city that shows a larger orb giving birth to smaller orbs.

If this is not some sort of hoax, with optical effects on the camera, it certainly is one of the more interesting sightings that I have seen on video. Most can be explained away as being laser pointers, Chinese lanterns, etc. This could be a hoax, then again it may not be. Judge for yourself.
